Just VQ it as you would a normal area.. there is no "requirement" to use Ursan to do this area.

Oh and yes its an easy farm, just make sure you have the boss quest on your char .

Yeah thats what i did before, run around to net some kills, then run over and kill all the bosses. wash rince repeat.

Now with ursan this was just too easy, but since the nerf will people be running the same method to collect norn points?

It's kind of silly that Anet makes an event that is going to increase server load on the same weekend as the monthly AT.

Who is this "we" you are speaking about? I'm pretty sure "we" all agree that doubling books would be a bad thing, since people could just save them up for a few months until one of these weekends rolls around.

I'm all for books being included. Why would you think it would be a bad thing.

That's gotta be one of the slowest ways to get points. You're only killing ~30 a run, triggering only 1 bonus. Clearing a zone, with a few bosses thrown in, would get you more points vs time spent.

looks like i can max norn on a few more toons if i find enough time.

if anyone is worrying about finding a group to farm norn points, i assure you it was always easy to hero/hench it as i always did.

finding pugs takes more time than it saves, so only do it if you want the company and your guild is offline.

Because then people who turned in books normally would be more hesistant before turning in their books. Everybody would rather save them up until a double point weekend.

Double points on shrine actually makes sure everybody "earns" their points during the weekend.

Doubling books would encourage hoarding and also be unfair (image the qq of somebody who turned in a book on Monday, to find out Tuesday that this weekend would be double book weekend). It's just not fair in the long term.

Which is entirely different than someone that can't play this weekend for whatever reason vs someone that can....somehow.

Life is unfair.

You realize the purpose of these events is to make people log on and play?
